india...day 1 (part two)

ha ha my titile sounds like a movie...

and then we were on our way to the hotel we are gona stay in.

OMG!! What we saw on the streets of chennai really made us shocked!!

wait ah...i wana compare what can be seen on the streets of singapore and chennai

SINGAPORE (WHAT CAN BE SEEN ON THE STREETS) ......

*ALOT OF cars

*A FEW birds

*road signs

*road divisions

*traffic lights(with 3 different colours of lights)

CHENNAI.....

-alot of cars

-alot of birds

-so many COWS

-so many DOGS

-so many statues

-so many AUTOS

-no road divisions

-useless traffic light(with 4 different kind of lights...wah..more high tech!)

-lesser road sings

-traffic policemen here and there(very friendly...gt say hi to me!)

I was so shocked to see the road system inChennai! they are not organised as much as singapore's road system. The drivers can just make u-turn almost anywhere in the road.There are very few road divisions......in the same lane, vehicles can be moving through and fro.

And GUESS WHAT??in s'pore..u can see stray cats...but i Chennai...u can see STRAY COWS!and you noe wad?If any driver were to hit the stray cows....THEY WILL BE PUNISHED! cool huh?indians really CARE alot for animals:)

and thier traffic light gt 4 different colours of light...ours only gt 3!Chennai....u rock!!

There was once a driver get out of his vehicle and fought with another driver in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!

AT LAST.......we reached the SUBARI QUALITY HOTEL!

i really thought the hotel will not be so nice.But u noe wad?i really LOVE the hotel!!

i shared a room with Fathima.She was soo excited when we saw our room! its damn nice!Oh yaa...me and fathima kept on SINNGING n SINGING n SINGINg as we watch the songs on the tv! We really had alot of fun!!

And then we went to a temple,

I cant remember the name....but there were alot of CARVINGS on the walls! i find it interesting!

And then we went to this place where there were HUGE ROCKS!! the scene is just AMAZING!! We have to climb up a very slippery slope to reach the HUGE ROCKS! I almost wanted to fall!! THANKS PHYU....i will nvr forget your help:)and then the agent said that actually...the rocks are FLOATING ON WATER!! cool huh??i just cant believe it!!

oh yaa...when we were there...there was this small girl who asked for some money.
I felt so sorry for her.There were many other indian men and women trying to sell some stuffs to us...but we were strictly told nt to purchase them.

and then....we went to the shops around there and purchase some soveniers! the prices were quite reasonable! manikam came n bargain for us! thanks teacher:) i bod this elephant carving! i think its made out of wax...and it cost 50 rupee each!

We were suppose to visit the art village(dakshinashitra)! the tour guide say that it shows the different type of houses situated in india!

BUT IT WAS CLOSED! argghh! (its always close on tuesdays also)

Later we went back to the hotel.yipee!! we watched more song! i just feel like it was a karaoke session:)

wen we were about to sleep,we heard someone knocking the door!i was soo scared!!we quickly went n open the door..it was just the room service....he gave us two mineral water bottles...

GUESS WAD??I heard some1 listening to some tamil songs in the middle of the nite...i was SOO SCRAED!!! i turn n look at Fatimah,sHe was SLEEPING NICELY!i DON DARE TO OPEN MY EYES...Luckily i fell asleep aft that! THANK GOD:)

END OF DAE ONE(wah...it takes alot of time to blog! i am damn tired!!)
